The Chicken & Rice Guys are adding a new twist for their fifth annual Eating Contest: an afternoon of funk, soul and R&B music at the Condon Band Shell on Mystic Valley Parkway.

Live music by will be performed by The Nephrok! Allstars,  The American Symphony of Soul, Gretchen Klempa (of Gretchen & The Pickpockets) and Nat Reed.

Plates of ChickyRice will be available for free. Additional munchables will be availabe for purchase from Frozen Hoagies and Quebrada Baking Co.

Participating in the Eating Contest requires registration through the event website.
