The Blank Quartet
Wednesday, May 1, 2019 @ 8:00 pm - 9:30 pm
FreeWashvault Lab, a reimagined laundromat on Boston Avenue, presents a night of jazz music featuring the Blank Quartet. Led by pianist George Behrakis, the Blank Quartet also features Max Miller on bass, Harrison Clark on drums, and Ben Bizrach on the saxophone.
This event is made possible by the Medford Arts Council, and is curated by pianist Jonathan Fagan.
Washvault Lab also has launched a monthly Hillside Jazz Concert Series; the next event will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 24 — a tribute to Cannonball Adderley, the jazz alto saxophonist of the hard bop era of the 1950s an 1960s. All concerts are free and open to the public.
Washvault Lab is re-envisioning the laundry experience along social and environmental touchpoints, offering a new approach to laundry services that prioritizes the user experience. Washvault aims to positively impact the local community, the environment, and its customers through meaningful outreach opportunities and sustainability efforts.
