The Medford Public Library welcomes author Michael Glenn for a talk on his book "Selected Stories," which was published last September. The book features short but profound stories that transform apparently mundane experiences into revelations about human nature and connection, selfishness and love, intimacy and conformity. The Medford Senior Center presents its weekly Arm Chair Travel Experience. Tufts University occupational therapy students lead the program through virtual reality (VR), an immersive experience that allows you to watch a video while simultaneously feeling as if you are in that environment. Participants will be given a seat in the Senior Center library, a VR headset, and 360-degree recorded VR videos to sightsee without having to leave the building.
