Are you an older adult looking to improve your English skills? Join the Medford Council on Aging for Conversational English with Janice Cole, a friendly and relaxed environment where you can practice speaking English, engage in lively discussions, and build your confidence. The Medford Public Library presents a Craft Challenge Take & Make for teens in middle school and high school. Participants will receive a bag of very random art supplies and will have one month to put something together that uses all of them. The Medford Public Library is offering you the training you need to "check out" the library's Maker Space just like a study room. With this 101 level class on using a Glowforge laser cutter, you can earn a "badge" and gain more exclusive access to the Maker Space and its contents. The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly Country Line Dancing class for seniors, beginners and beyond, led by Julie Kaufmann. Country line dancing is a fantastic activity for older adults. If offers a fun way to stay active, improve coordination, and socialize. It's also easy to learn — many line dances are designed to be simple and repetitive, making it accessible for beginners.
