Art Class for Seniors
The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly art class for seniors led by Tom Wojciechowski, a visual artist who works in a variety of media including installation, painting, photography and books. Build skills and techniques each week and try out various processes that help you experiment and find joy in art and image making. Little Painters
The Medford Recreation Department is offering an eight-class painting program, Little Painters, for children ages 2 to 5. Medford Rec has put a fresh and fun spin on the program, with exciting new projects and a fantastic new instructor who's all set to ignite your creativity. The program runs from 9:30 to 10 a.m. on Saturdays from February 1 through March 22. Cost is $75 for residents, $91 for non-residents. Register through the Medford Recreation website.

The Medford Recreation Department is offering an eight-week course on music video production for kids in grades 1 to 4. Participants will become art directors, cinematographers, movie stars and dancers as they plan, storyboard, film, and finally edit their very own music video. Children will utilize professional filmmaking equipment, and dive into art direction as they create costumes and props for the video. Tufts Hillel is offering free English language classes for adults on Sunday nights. Beginner classes will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. and Intermediate classes will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Childcare and pizza will be provided for both class sessions.
