Kids’ Soft Sculpture Workshop at ACM
Arts Collaborative Medford is offering a two-day Soft Sculpture Workshop led by Aimée Archambault for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. Create soft sculptures using hand sewing, weaving, fabric, felt, yarn, cardboard, and more. Projects may include monster pillows, simple sock animals, pom pom critters, or felt puppets. Arts Collaborative Medford is offering a Clay Cup Workshop for teens in grades 6 through 12 led by Aimée Archambault. Participants will handbuild a cup or mug out of clay slabs, learning the basics of clay construction and customizing their cups using texture, underglaze, and handles. Arts Collaborative Medford presents its bi-weekly Live Figure Drawing Session, held every other Tuesday evening at the community arts center. These are in-person, non-instructor led sessions with a nude or lightly clothed model striking a mixture of short and long poses — starting at one minute and working up to a 15- or 20-minute pose.
