Tufts Composers: New at Noon #4
Today's New at Noon series program is "Self-Similar Magic: Marimbas and More." Inspired by Tom Johnson’s Rational Melodies and the Marimba Magic Ensemble at the Rivers Conservatory (Sarah Tenney, founder and director), Tufts Composers will match minimalist mechanisms with mallets. Free to the public with no tickets required; also viewable via Tufts Music Live Streaming.

The Medford Council on Aging presents a free Latin Dance Festival for seniors age 60 and older, led by Champions Dance Sport Club of Everett. Reserve your place by calling the Senior Center at 781-396-6010. The program is made possible by a Medford Arts Council grant.

Turbo, a breakdance/hip-hop crew and student organization at Tufts, invites you to Turbomania 25, its annual jam, taking place in the Remis Sculpture Court in Aidekman Arts Center. The event will be mainly presented in a competition format, with cyphers going on in between competitions. Turbomania is open to the public; Turbo wants to create a space where breakers with different experiences can share their knowledge and stories through conversations of dance.

The Tufts University Tap Ensemble presents its spring performance, "All My Love," performing student-choreographed tap dance pieces from this semester. Admission is free; make ticket reservations through the Tufts online box office starting April 25.
