Exhibition Closing: Lakota YouthStay – New Experiences, Clarity of Vision
Today is the final day to view the July art exhibition at the Medford Public Library, “New Experiences, Clarity of Vision,” featuring photographs, art and crafts by the eight participants in this year's Lakota YouthStay cultural exchange program. Since 2017, Oglala Lakota youth from the Pine Ridge reservation in South Dakota have visited Eastern Massachusetts each summer as part of the Lakota YouthStay, founded by Medford resident Joy Harris. Chang Family Art Exhibition Opening
The Chang Family Art Exhibition opens today in the second-floor gallery of the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. Exhibition Opening: Sam Morse Paintings
The Medford Public Library's art exhibition for September features landscape paintings by Sam Morse. A 24-year-old robotics technician originally from Fitchburg, Morse has been painting for about 10 years, off and on, and specializes exclusively in acrylic landscapes on canvas.
