Saturday Family Story Time
The Medford Public Library presents a story hour for children ages 3 to 7, exploring new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. After story time, a short craft or activity will be held in the same space.

The Medford Public Library presents Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Registration is required through the library's online calendar.

As April is Autism Awareness Month, The Ford Tavern is holding a kid-friendly Silent Disco Brunch to provide a space for kids to sing and dance without having the distractions of their surroundings. Each child will get a pair of headphones where they will be able to listen to music at their own sound level. Tickets are $15 per child and cost include a complimentary dessert. The Medford Public Library’s First Grade Book Club meets to discuss "Memory Jars" by Vera Brosgol. Please note that this club is only for children in first grade. The Medford Recreation Department presents a nine-week Music Together class for children ages 1 month to 5 years. Taught by Mystic Valley Music Together, the classes are playful, rich and engaging and help children discover their inner music-maker by playing with the grownups they love. Classes will be held from 10 to 10:45 a.m. on Wednesdays from April 24 through June 19. Cost is $220 for residents, $240 for non-residents. Register through the Medford Recreation website.

The Medford Public Library presents another PJ Story Time, for children ages 3 to 7. Dress up in your coziest outfit, grab your favorite snuggle friend and come on down. There will be a short (30-minute) story time with songs and books to get you ready for the best dreamtime!

Join Toddler Time at the Medford Public Library and read some excellent books, sing songs, and learn gentle movement activities. Story time is 30 minutes long and geared toward children ages 2-3. After stories and songs, all are invited to join a mini-play group too.
