Saturday Family Story Time
The Medford Public Library presents a story hour for children ages 3 to 7, exploring new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. After story time, a short craft or activity will be held in the same space.

The Medford Family Network shifts its series of seven outdoor concerts to the Condon Shell for August, starting with a performance by Lindsay Munroe. Children's activities will take place from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by the concert from 6 to 7 p.m. In order to create a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone to enjoy the music, this will be sensory friendly event. The Medford Public Library presents Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Registration is required through the library's online calendar, where you can also access the Sensory Storytime Social Story to read in advance.
