Circle Time Story Time – Ages 2 to 5
The Medford Family Network presents Circle Time Story Time for children ages 2 to 5 at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. The Medford Public Library presents a story hour for children ages 3 to 7, exploring new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. After story time, a short craft or activity will be held in the same space.
Find out more »STEM Story Time: Story of the Bees and the Flowers
The Medford Public Library presents its first STEM Story Time, "The Story of the Bees and the Flowers, for ages 3 to7. Join STEM educator Kendall Inglese and author/illustrator Yumi Izuyama to learn about pollination. The story will be acted out with kamishibai, or “paper theater,” a Japanese form of storytelling involving illustrated cards. The story time will be followed by a craft.

The City of Medford presents its fourth annual Halloween Fest at Wright’s Pond. The event will feature a pumpkin float and lantern walk, live music, a Medford Family Network Craft Table, and more. Beverages will be available from Medford Brewing Company and Twenty 5 Espresso. Costumes are encouraged. Drop off pumpkins to be included in the pumpkin float at Wright's Pond on Thursday, October 24, from 5 to 7 p.m., and on Saturday, October 26, from noon to 2 p.m.…

The Medford Public Library and Medford Recreation Department invite you to an all-ages Haunted Doll Scavenger Hunt at Wright's Pond. Some dolls have been lost in the woods . . . can you help find them? Participants will receive a free book. Register through the library's online calendar. Be sure to wear hiking shoes or boots because the dolls will be hidden along the trails.

The Medford Public Library hosts its monthly Play Dough Club for ages 2 to 5. Why play dough? Playing with play dough helps young kids develop their hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine-motor and literacy skills. The Medford Public Library presents Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Registration is required through the library's online calendar, where you can also access the Sensory Storytime Social Story to read in advance.
