Haitian Heritage Month: Haitian Flag Day Celebration
The City of Medford concludes its series of Haitian Heritage Month events a Haitian Flag Day Celebration at Andrews Middle School. There will be speakers, food, music, and children’s games/activities. The series is a collaboration between the City of Medford’s Health Department, the Medford Family Network, Medford Public Library, and DiamondTale Consulting Inc.

Planning with a Scorpio, a one stop shop for all things cat stickers, stationery, and greeting cards based in Revere, is presenting its first outdoor market, the Makers on the Mystic Pop-up at the Condon Shell. An event for the whole family, it will feature a large variety of local vendors, food, live music, and activities for kids.

Medford Porchfest
The second annual Medford Porchfest, an afternoon of free performances throughout the city, spotlighting the musical skills and diverse cultures of the Medford community, takes place today from noon to 5 p.m. In last year's inaugural event, more than 150 acts played at over 100 locations. The 25th annual West Medford Open Studios will be staged as a one-day event at Dugger Park and the West Medford Community Center. It will showcase the talents of more than 70 visual artists from Medford and surrounding communities, plus features live music and spoken word performances, food and beverages, and more.
