River’s Edge invites everyone to its first “Movie Night in the Park." The Office of Mayor Stephanie M. Burke and the Medford Recreation Department are presenting a Halloween Movie Night featuring and outdoor screening of the film "Hotel Transylvania," the computer-animated move featuring he voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James and others. Activities start at 5 p.m. and will include pumpkin painting, Halloween crafts, a graveyard ring toss and lawn games. Costumes are encouraged. Community Cinema: The Nativity
Community Baptist Church invites you to a screening of the film "The Nativity," Coky Giedroyc's 2010 religious drama that concentrates on the months and days before Christ's birth. The movie, starring Peter Capaldi, Tatiana Maslany and Andrew Buchan, offers the point of view of various characters including the wise men and shepherds. The film is part of the Community Cinema series that Community Baptist Church launched in December 2018 with the aim of showing films about caring and goodness.

Tufts University's Office of Community Relations invites Medford residents to a holiday movie night on campus featuring the 2018 version of "The Grinch," which was the movie selected by a vote of the community.
