The Medford Public Library's summer Friday movie series presents a screening of  Steven Spielberg's 1975 blockbuster "Jaws"  in Bonsignore Hall.  The film stars Roy Scheider as police chief Martin Brody, who, with the help of a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and a professional shark hunter (Robert Shaw), hunts a man-eating great white shark that attacks beachgoers at a summer resort town. No registration is required. The film series will conclude on August 11 with "Back to the Future."    

Outdoor Family Movie Night at River's Edge will feature "Minions: The Rise of Gru." The 2022 animated movie, rated PG, will be shown on the Great Lawn at The Park at River's Edge adjacent to 200 River’s Edge Drive. Station Landing presents its annual outdoor movie night, this time featuring the 2017 fantasy adventure comedy "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle." The Station Landing promenade will be transformed to an outdoor theater with picnic tables and limited beanbag chairs. Grab a bite from one of the many onsite restaurants to make it dinner and a movie. Pre-movie activities will begin at 6:30 p.m., with the film (1 hour, 59 minutes) starting at dusk.  

The Medford Public Library concludes its summer Friday movie series with a screening of "Back to the Future"  in Bonsignore Hall.  In the 1985 film, starring Michael J. Fox, a 17-year-old high school student, Marty McFly, is accidentally sent 30 years into the past in a time-traveling DeLorean invented by his close friend, the maverick scientist Doc Brown. No registration is required.
