Filmmaker Daniel Weintraub will be on campus at Tufts University for a screening of his film "Deep Listening: The Story of Pauline Oliveros.” Weintraub's new feature-length film traces the life and work of visionary composer, musician, teacher, technological innovator and humanitarian Pauline Oliveros (1932–2016). A question-and-answer session with Weintraub will follow the film.  

The Medford Senior Center presents a screening of the film, “The House We Lived In,” with the filmmaker and subject, Tim and Tod O’Donnell, in attendance. A decade in the making, a young Massachusetts filmmaker confronts family, memory and addiction as he chronicles his father’s journey to recover lost memories following a traumatic brain injury. The Medford Public Library continues its movie series with a screening of "A League of Their Own" in Bonsignore Hall. In conjunction with Spring Fling Weekend, Tufts University invites neighbors to campus for a free movie featuring the 1999 romance/comedy "10 Things I Hate About You" (PG-13; running time 1 hour, 37 minutes). Free, tasty snacks from Dylan & Pete's will be available. Note: Due to the weather forecast, the film will be shown indoors at Barnum Hall, Room 104, rather than outdoors on the President's Lawn.    

Join Medford actress Laura Duggan in Bonsignore Hall at the Medford Public Library for the story of England’s famous author of "Peter Rabbit" and many other cherished children’s tales. Created at Medford Community Media, this production features many scenes filmed around Medford, such as the Brooks Estate, Grace Episcopal Church, and Laura’s backyard garden. The Medford Public Library continues its movie series with a screening of "Night at the Museum" (2006) in Bonsignore Hall. In the film, a newly recruited night security guard at the Museum of Natural History discovers that an ancient curse causes the animals and exhibits on display to come to life and wreak havoc. Tufts University invites the community to a Reunion Weekend outdoor showing of the Disney film "Encanto." A computer-animated musical fantasy comedy, "Encanto" won a 2022 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. Due to the inclement weather in the forecast, the movie (1 hour, 42 minutes long) will be shown in Cohen Auditorium, rather than outdoors on Fletcher Field.
