Outdoor Movie: How to Train Your Dragon
Redemption Hill Church presents its annual Summer Movie Night on the lawn at Barry Park, featuring the 2010 computer-animated film "How to Train Your Dragon." There will be family games and activities offered at 7:30, with the film starting at dusk (running time is 98 minutes). Bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Redemption Hill will also be supporting the Mystic Community Market and local micro-pantries, so as you are able, please bring any non-perishable food items.

The Medford Recreation Department continues its summer outdoor movie series with a showing of "Space Jam" at the Condon Shell. The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m., but come an hour earlier as the Rec Department will have music and lawn games set up in the field, along with free popcorn. Please bring a blanket, drinks, and bug spray. The third and final film in the series will be "Hook" on Friday, August 19 at Wright's Pond.

First Baptist Church of Medford invites the community to a cookout and movie night. There will be free hotdogs, hamburgers and chips starting at 6:30, followed by a movie for all ages at 7:30. Tufts Outdoor Movie: Encanto
Tufts University's Department of Community Relations presents and outdoor showing of the Disney film "Encanto," which was postponed due to bad weather in June. "Encanto," a computer-animated musical fantasy comedy, won a 2022 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature Film. The Fletcher Eurasia Club and Tufts Amnesty International present a film screening of the documentary "Tango with Putin," also known as "F@ck This Job" (2022).
