Victorian Stroll Trolley Tours

Historic Medford and Medford Events offer their final day of Victorian Stroll Trolley Tours in the city. Tours begin at the Salem Street Burying Ground, where historical actors and singers will perform. Tour stops will include Lydia Maria Child’s Grandfather’s House on South Street, and some of Medford’s other famous houses. Tour times today are 1, 3, 5 and 6 p.m. Cost is $20 per person, with free admission for those under age 13 and over age 65. To order,…

Codes and Ciphers in the American Revolutionary War

The Medford Public Library is co-sponsoring the online program "Codes and Ciphers in the American Revolutionary War" led by education coordinator for Historic New England. Codes, ciphers, and all manner of methods have been used for hundreds of years to secretly send messages.
