Family Story Time
The Medford Public Library presents family story time for ages 3 to 7. The session explores new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. After story time, a short craft or activity will be held in the same space.

The Medford Public Library presents Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Registration is required through the library's online calendar, where you can also access the Sensory Storytime Social Story to read in advance.

Poetry Club with Vijaya Sundaram
The Medford Public Library invites you to a meeting of its Poetry Club led by Vijaya Sundaram, the City of Medford's poet laureate. Join the New England Poetry Club this afternoon for poetry, music, and a touch of surrealism at the Medford Brewing Company. Regie Gibson will headline the afternoon, which will also highlight NEPC member poets based in Medford: Julia Lisella, Marlena Merrin, Leticia Priebe Rocha, and Medford Poet Laureate Vijaya Sundaram. The Medford Public Library hosts its second Friday "Coffee and Books" session with director Barbara Kerr. Join Barbara in Bonsignore Hall for coffee and a discussion of the hot new books and interesting titles the library recently acquired. No assigned reading or registration is required. Coffee provided by Chapters Coffee Carts, the nonprofit coffee and snack cart that operates in the library's second-floor gallery. Its mission is to set up supported worksites for people with disabilities.
