The Medford Public Library presents Storytime with Hannah Moushabeck for kids ages 5 and up and their families. Moushabeck is a second-generation Palestinian-American editor and book publisher, and the author of the picture book "Homeland: My Father Dreams of Palestine." She will read her book, share stories about her family and homeland of Palestine, and lead a craft activity. The Medford Public Library presents Sensory Storytime for ages 3 to 7. Explore stories, music, movement, and play in a sensory-friendly and adaptive setting. This storytime is for everyone, but is particularly designed for neurodiverse children — children who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing challenges, ADHD, or have difficulty sitting through our other storytimes. Registration is required through the library's online calendar, where you can also access the Sensory Storytime Social Story to read in advance.

The Medford Public Library invites you to the first fall meeting of its Poetry Club led by Vijaya Sundaram, the City of Medford's poet laureate. The group will meet every month on the fourth Friday to read and discuss the work of great poets, while crafting and performing participants' own work. The Medford Public Library's Monday Morning Mysteries group meets to discuss "Heaven, My Home" by Attica Locke. Books will be available approximately four weeks in advance.
