Thrust Club, Headband at Deep Cuts
Deep Cuts presents another Know Your Scene night showcasing local bands, tonight featuring Thrust Club and Headband. Trust Club is a garage dance party made up of Sally Bunch (guitar), JC Supastar (drums), Erin Genett (keys/backing vocals), and Bethany Leavey (main vocals/bass). All members volunteer at BRPM, a nonprofit organization empowering girls, women, and gender-expansive youths and adults to believe in themselves by building a supportive community that fosters self-expression, confidence, and collaboration through music education and performance. Tufts University Art Galleries presents the last of four player piano sessions featuring the boundary-defying work of composer Conlon Nancarrow, in conjunction with the current exhibition "Impossible Music." (T-T)b describes themselves as "deep-fried bitpunk for short attention spans."
