The Philadelphia loud guitar band Restorations comes to Deep Cuts for a release party for their first new album in six years, the self-titled "Restorations," out on March 22. Also performing will be Signals Midwest and MK Naomi. Doors open at 7 p.m. with music at 8. Tickets are $20 through Dice.

Kiniwe, the African Music and Dance Ensemble of the Tufts Music Department, and guests perform music and dance from the Ashanti, Dagomba and Ga people of Ghana. Guests will include Mohammed Alidu, Worcester Polytechnic Institute's African Drumming Ensemble, the New England Conservatory's Mile Norvisi, and the Agbekor Drum and Dance Society. The Beelzebubs, Tufts University’s oldest male a cappella group, present their final show of the school year, "Bubs in the Pub," featuring special guests Peking and the Mystics, an ensemble of Tufts grads that formed in 1973 and includes baritone Tim Vaill, a founding member of the Beelzebubs. Tune learners, second instrument players, or anyone who enjoys traditional Irish music are welcome for moderately paced Irish tunes — jigs, reels and more — upbeat chat, and connection with other trad music lovers. The Medford Jazz Festival presents its third jam session of the year, rescheduled from March due to a performer's illness, at the West Medford Community Center. The house band once again features the Standard Expansion Project, which consists of Jonathan Fagan, John Dalton and Erik Van Dam. Fagan, a jazz pianist, launched the Medford Jazz Festival in October 2020 with a five-day event showcasing the cultural diversity, creativity and talent of local musicians through several virtual concerts.
