APOLLO ASCEND at ACM
APOLLO presents ASCEND, the first installation of a spring series at Arts Collaborative Medford. For this event, local artists will spin techno on the floor. The night also will feature local art vendors @atira.hope, @ring.around.your.finger, @sammy_lynnxoxo and more for art, trinkets, jewelry, and hemp slushies. Tickets are $20 (early bird) and $25 through the event web page.

The Medford Recreation Department invites you to bring the family and your creativity to LoConte Rink for Paint the Ice! Families will receive a box of paint to paint the ice with any artwork desired. Be sure to take pictures of your artwork. At the end of the event, the Zamboni will be remove the paint. For ages 3 and up. No skating experience is necessary. Cost is $5 per person. Register through the Medford Recreation website.

The Medford Public Library hosts its monthly Play Dough Club for ages 2 to 5. Why play dough? Playing with play dough helps young kids develop their hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine-motor and literacy skills. The Medford Public Library invites kids to drop in for its weekly Reading Buddies program. Come practice your reading skills by reading aloud to teen volunteers. Reading Buddies will be available for 30-minute increments and happy to listen to you read whatever book(s) you'd like. The Medford Public Library presents another edition of Books With Bailey, a trained service dog who loves listening to books! If you are learning to read and want to build your confidence, come read to Bailey. Arts Collaborative Medford presents the first event in its new Art & Dinner series. The program will feature a personal tour with painter Jahnae Wyatt of her five-piece exhibition, "My Reflections: Towards Divinity," assembled just for this event. You’ll learn about the artist’s journey, and how her work captures vulnerability, transformation, and rebirth.
