Art & Soul Circle: Scavengers
Arts Collaborative Medford and Sanctuary United Church of Christ present an Art & Soul Circle for “Scavengers,” a gallery showcase and pop-up library celebrating the resourcefulness of artists, their ability to use anything as a tool for creation, and their drive to create anywhere and everywhere. The showcase will highlight sketchbooks, objects, signs and stickers. Rev. Wendy Miller Olapade will facilitate the dialogue, reflecting on the questions that unfold from the art.

Jerome Street Studios invites you to stop by its art studios and gallery in West Medford for an Open Studios day. There will be paintings, prints, jewelry and pottery for sale, plus as always, free snacks and beverages. Participating JSS studio artists are Earl Howard, Sheila Corkery, Maria Kozmin and Stephanie Todhunter. Participating guest artist will be Lori Gardinier. This will be JSS's only Open Studios day of the year.

The Medford Chess Club invites you to its weekly meet-up in Medford Square, taking place in the second-floor gallery at the library. The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members to teach you the rules if you're new to the game. The Chevalier Theatre Organ Society invites you to its 2024 Annual Meeting, which will be held virtually. The program will include a short business meeting, a brief presentation on the Chevalier Wurlitzer history and 2024 project highlights, and a Q&A with Peter Rudewicz of Rudewicz and Company, who this year is directing substantial restoration work on and installation of the organ’s major remaining components.
