Playing with play dough helps young kids develop their hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine-motor and literacy skills. The Medford Public Library is holding its first Visual Arts Drop-in for adults in the Maker Space. If you love to draw, sketch, paint, collage, or create visual art in another way, this program is for you. All skill levels welcome. An in-house expert will be available to answer questions. The Medford Council on Aging's group for LGBTQ+ Seniors holds its monthly get-together. The group, facilitated by Janice Cole, was formed to make LGBTQIA+ members feel welcome and supported at the Medford Senior Center. It meets on the third Thursday of each month from 2 to 3 p.m. Sign up in advance by calling the Senior Center at 781-396-6010 or just drop in.

The Medford Council on Aging is partnering with the city's Office of Veterans Services to create 30 wreaths that will be laid at the Salem Street Burying Ground in Medford Square in honor of Patriots Day. This event will be led by Veronica Shaw, the city's Director of Veterans Services. All supplies will be provided. Limited to 30 participants.
