MPS World Language and Culture Festival
The World Language Department of the Medford Public Schools invites you to its second World Language and Culture Festival. Come join MPS World Language students to celebrate their skills, and help raise money for student scholarships. The event will take place in the main lobby/foyer of Medford High School and feature music, dancing and food. 4GoodVibes is presenting a March Madness Virtual Makers Market. The nine-day event, running from March 15 through 23, will feature 60+ local vendors featuring handmade items, live shopping, raffles, games, and more, all via the event Facebook group. Vendors interested in participating (cost is $25) may apply using the online form. Vendors with a 4GoodVibes Virtual Markets yearly membership are automatically accepted and need not apply.

The Medford Chess Club invites you to its weekly meet-up in Medford Square, taking place in the second-floor gallery area at the library. The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members to teach you the rules if you're new to the game. The Dreams of Freedom Band from County Kerry, Ireland, will be the featured performer at the annual Irish Night fundraising event for the Dan Kelly Foundation at the Great American Beer Hall. The Medford Public Library invites kids to drop in for its weekly Reading Buddies program. Come practice your reading skills by reading aloud to teen volunteers. Reading Buddies will be available for 30-minute increments and happy to listen to you read whatever book(s) you'd like. The Medford Public Library is holding its first Visual Arts Drop-in for adults in the Maker pace. If you love to draw, sketch, paint, collage, or create visual art in another way, this program is for you. All skill levels welcome. An in-house expert will be available to answer questions.
