Cookbook Club: Thug Kitchen
The Medford Public Library resumes its monthly Cookbook Club. This month's title is "Thug Kitchen" by Matt Holloway and Michelle Davis. Register for the book club meeting using the library's online calendar, then ask for your copy of the book at the circulation desk. The Medford Council on Aging's group for LGBTQ+ Seniors holds its monthly get-together. The group, facilitated by Janice Cole, was formed to make LGBTQIA+ members feel welcome and supported at the Medford Senior Center. It meets on the third Thursday of each month from 2 to 3 p.m. Sign up in advance by calling the Senior Center at 781-396-6010 or just drop in.

The Medford Council on Aging is partnering with the city's Office of Veterans Services to create 30 wreaths that will be laid at the Salem Street Burying Ground in Medford Square in honor of Patriots Day. This event will be led by Veronica Shaw, the city's Director of Veterans Services. All supplies will be provided. Limited to 30 participants.
