Torn Ticket II, the only student-run musical theater group at Tufts University, presents the first of two performances of "Company," its spring workshop show. In a series of vignettes, "Company" follows bachelor Bobby interacting with his married friends, who throw a party for his 35th birthday. With bountiful music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and an introspective script written by George Furth, 14 actors take to the stage to put on this cynically insightful musical about marriage and commitment. HYPE! Mimez at Tufts University, New England's only collegiate mime troupe, presents its spring show, "On the Straight and Narrow." The show will feature all new works -- laugh, cry, tremble in fear.
