Art Class for Seniors
The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly art class for seniors led by Tom Wojciechowski, a visual artist who works in a variety of media including installation, painting, photography and books. Build skills and techniques each week and try out various processes that help you experiment and find joy in art and image making. Are you an older adult looking to improve your English skills? Join the Medford Council on Aging for Conversational English with Janice Cole, a friendly and relaxed environment where you can practice speaking English, engage in lively discussions, and build your confidence. The Medford Public Library presents a Lanyard Bracelet Making Workshop for teens in middle school and high school. Revisit summer camp and come make lanyard bracelets (or keychains or necklaces). All materials will be provided. Sign-up is required through the library's new online calendar.

Deep Cuts welcomes André Obin for a show celebrating the limited-edition vinyl release of his "Armored King" album. Obin is known for his blend of electronic, synth-pop, and post-punk influences, creating atmospheric and emotive soundscapes. Also performing will be the electronic-pop duo Telelectrix plus Sean Drinkwater, best known for being the synthesizer/guitarist/occasional singer in Freezepop. The Medford Chess Club invites you to its weekly meet-up in Medford Square, taking place in the second-floor gallery at the library. The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members to teach you the rules if you're new to the game.
