The Medford Public Library hosts an afternoon drop-in time in the Maker Space specifically for adults. Stop by and work on your own project or ask the library's in-house expert about how to use the space and equipment. General safety badging is available on Drop-In days as well. Chameleon, the Medford Public Library’s drop-in groups for LGBTQIAP+ youth and allies in grades 6 to 12, meets in the Youth Services Program Room. Come chat, connect, do fun projects, and play games in a safe, open, and welcoming space. No one is required to disclose any aspect of their identity in order to be part of the groups. No registration required.

The Medford Public Library is offering a seven-week Spanish Language Class for adults. Learn some basic words and phrases — this class is designed for beginners, but if you attended the last Spanish class at the library, this one will involve different vocabulary, so feel free to sign up again. Sessions will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturdays from January 11 through February 22. Register using the library's new online calendar.

Deep Cuts kicks off its 2025 live music season with The Hinterlands Ball featuring Sinnett, The Gravel Project, and Nick Prato. The Medford Public Library welcomes the Cambridge Chamber Singers for the concert, "A Glorious Sight: Four Centuries of Music by Italian Women," in Bonsignore Hall.
