Family Story Time
The Medford Public Library presents family story time for ages 3 to 7. The session explores new concepts with books and songs. Parents and caregivers are welcome to join in. After story time, a short craft or activity will be held in the same space.

The Medford Jingle Bell Festival, celebrating its 24th year, opens its five-day Holiday Tree Display in the Alden Chambers at Medford City Hall. Many businesses, organizations and residents of Medford donate uniquely decorated holiday trees, which are part of a raffle that raises funds to support Medford community organizations. The Medford Public Library is offering the training you need to "check out" the library's Maker Space just like a study room. With this session on the Cricut cutting machine, you can earn a "badge" and gain more exclusive access to the Maker Space and its contents. Tufts University campus neighbors are invited to attend Pax et Lux, the Tufts Chaplaincy’s multifaith winter celebration at Goddard Chapel. Translated from Latin, Pax et Lux means peace and light, and is a winter celebration honoring the multicultural and multifaith traditions of the Tufts community. Join Toddler Time at the Medford Public Library and read some excellent books, sing songs, and learn gentle movement activities. Story time is 30 minutes long and geared toward children ages 2-3. After stories and songs, all are invited to join a mini-play group too.

The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly art class for seniors led by Tom Wojciechowski, a visual artist who works in a variety of media including installation, painting, photography and books. Build skills and techniques each week and try out various processes that help you experiment and find joy in art and image making.
