Middle School Chameleon: TDOR and Trans Joy
Middle School Chameleon, the Medford Public Library’s drop-in group for LGBTQIAP+ youth and allies in grades 6 to 8, meets in Bonsignore Hall. Today's topic is the Transgender Day or Remembrance (TDOR) and Trans Joy. Come chat, connect, do fun projects, and play games in a safe, open, and welcoming space. No one is required to disclose any aspect of their identity in order to be part of the group.

Deep Cuts invites you to kick off the holiday season and get dirty together with a beginner-friendly Holiday Edition Pottery Class led by Pottery With a Purpose. You’ll receive an introduction to pottery including the pinch pot and coil technique. The class host will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you'll learn to hand-build a pinch pot. The Medford Public library presents a stop motion animation workshop for teens in grades 6 and up. Watch your ideas become cinematic realities in this in-depth class. The Medford Public Library hosts the monthly meeting of its Writers’ Workshop. The group, which usually meets on the last Wednesday of the month, is gathering on the third Wednesday this month due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Dance Caliente presents a free Argentine Tango Class in Bonsignore Hall at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. Dancers of all ages are invited. The Medford Council on Aging has re-formed a group for LGBTQ+ Seniors. All are invited to a meet & greet today with Janice Cole, group facilitator, and help plan and execute this group, which meets on the third Thursday of each month from 2 to 3 p.m. Sign up in advance by calling the Senior Center at 781-396-6010 or just drop in.

The Medford Public Library presents another edition of Art Smart, a program designed for school-aged children ages 5 and up.
