Spirit of the Creative, a hip hop and commercial choreography dance group from Tufts University, invites you to their fall show, "Alter Ego." Spirit of the Creative's dance routines draw inspiration from diverse styles, including street jazz, hip hop, k-pop, contemporary, and other genres that vary based on the unique styles and backgrounds of the group's members and choreographers. 4GoodVibes Virtual Winter Makers Market

4GoodVibes is presenting a 10-day Virtual Winter Makers Market. The event, running from November 8 to 17, will feature more than 75 vendors offering handmade items, plus live shopping, raffles, games, and more, all via the Virtual Makers Markets Facebook group. Vendors can ship to you or some offer local pickup at the 4GoodVibes shop on Main Street in South Medford. Vendor fee is $30; apply using the market's online form.

The Medford Public Library hosts its second Friday "Coffee and Books" session with director Barbara Kerr. Join Barbara in Bonsignore Hall for coffee and a discussion of the hot new books and interesting titles the library recently acquired. No assigned reading or registration is required. Coffee provided by Chapters Coffee Carts, the nonprofit coffee and snack cart that operates in the library's second-floor gallery. Its mission is to set up supported worksites for people with disabilities.

The Tufts Department of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies presents the fourth of six performances of "The Furies," the final play of Aeschylus's "Oresteia." The first ever courtroom drama, this text explores themes of vengeance and justice, (dis)empowerment, and the function of legal systems within a larger democracy.
