Arts Collaborative Medford is hosting a Small Weaving Workshop led by Medford artist Christine Willis. In this beginners workshop you will create a small woven wall hanging using yarn and roving. You will learn how to warp your loom, basic weaving stitches, and how to tie off your piece and add it to a dowel or piece of wood to hang. Haitian Heritage Month: Film Screening – 1804

The City of Medford begins a series of Haitian Heritage Month events with a screening of the film "1804: The History of Haiti" in Bonsignore Hall at the library. The 2017 documentary tells the story of how Haiti won its independence, carrying out the first-ever successful slave rebellion.
