Mystic Makerspace Fixit Clinic

Mystic Makerspace presents another of its popular Fixit Clinics at the library. A Fixit Clinic celebrates repair through all-ages, do-it-together, hands-on, fix-n-learn, community-based discovery and disassembly. People bring broken, non-functioning things — electronics, small appliances, toys, bicycles, jewelry, fabric items, etc. — for assessment, disassembly, and — hopefully — repair. Matt & Shannon Heaton Virtual Guided Session

Medford musicians Matt and Shannon Heaton host their monthly Virtual Guided Session, taking place on the second Saturday of the month in May and June, instead of the usual third Saturday. Tune learners, second instrument players, or anyone who enjoys traditional Irish music are welcome for mid-tempo Irish tunes — jigs, reels and more — upbeat chat, and connection with other trad music lovers. Friends of the Library Trivia Night

CACHE member Friends of the Medford Public Library is holding its annual Trivia Night fundraiser at the library. Assemble your team in advance or create a team on the night. Tickets are $25 per person. There will be a cash bar, so this event is for ages 21 and over. Space is limited, so registration is required through the online event page. Dining Dead, an ethereal rock band from Seattle, brings its East Coast spring tour to Deep Cuts, fresh off the release of their sophomore album, "Is This A House?" The Tufts Sunday Concert Series concludes its 2024-25 season with the Tufts Youth Philharmonic Orchestra performing its final concert of the school year, under the direction of John Page.
