Ensemble Eclectica
The Medford Public Library invites you to join Ensemble Eclectica as they perform unusual musical gems – from lively Renaissance lute songs to great jazz tunes played unlike you’ve ever heard before. It’s a delicious variety of genre bending musical delights. The ensemble is Louise Grasmere on vocals, cigar-box guitar, and percussion; internationally recognized performer Fabio Pirozzolo on hand percussion; Peter Tillotson on double-bass; and music director Peter Lehman on theorbo (lute) and vocals. The Medford Council on Aging presents its weekly Country Line Dancing class for seniors, beginners and beyond, led by Julie Kaufmann. Country line dancing is a fantastic activity for older adults. If offers a fun way to stay active, improve coordination, and socialize. It's also easy to learn — many line dances are designed to be simple and repetitive, making it accessible for beginners. No partner is needed for the class. Cost is $3.
