This week's Country Line Dancing class for seniors is being offered for free and exclusively for beginners. Country line dancing is a fantastic activity for older adults. If offers a fun way to stay active, improve coordination, and socialize. It's also easy to learn — many line dances are designed to be simple and repetitive, making it accessible for beginners. The Medford Public Library's Tuesday Night Book Group meets to discuss "Remarkably Bright Creatures," a novel by Shelby Van Pelt. Books will be available approximately four weeks in advance. Registration is not required but is recommended using the library's new online calendar. The group meets monthly on the second Tuesday. The title for next month's meeting, on February 11, will be "We Should Not Be Friends: The Story of a Friendship," by Will Schwalbe.
