In celebration of Black History Month, the Mystic River Watershed Association presents “A River Runs Through It,” a special night of verse in tribute to diversity on the Mystic River and the richness of culture and community across the Mystic River watershed. Featuring Medford poet laureate Terry E. Carter and his daughter, the actress and theater professional Maya N. Carter — two  accomplished artists dedicated to raising up the perspective of underrepresented communities.
