The Medford Historical Society & Museum invites you to “A Tale of Two Colonies: Plimoth and Massachusetts Bay in the 17th Century,” a 1620 Anniversary Lecture with historian Stephen Kenney presented via Zoom.

Most visitors to Massachusetts know that the “Pilgrims” arrived in Plimoth aboard the Mayflower in 1620. Less well known is the landing of a “Puritan” fleet 10 years later, carrying a royal charter establishing the Massachusetts Bay Colony. Join Kenney, director of the Commonwealth Museum at the Massachusetts Archives, for a look at these two early settlements. A Q&A will follow.
