$42 – $98Chevalier Theatre presents “An Evening With Jane Fonda: A Celebration of a Storied Career.” Join two-time Oscar award-winning actress Jane Fonda for a career retrospective live on stage, moderated by Gina McCarthy, the former administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency. Clips from her career will be shared, along with stories and an audience Q&A. Not limited to the big screen, Jane Fonda has influenced society in many ways. Off screen, she is an impassioned activist supporting a number of causes to which she is deeply committed. Her aerobic-exercise videos in the 1980s helped shape the fitness craze in the U.S. that is still going strong. Other notable works are her television projects (including “The Newsroom” and “Grace and Frankie”), best-selling books (including “My Life So Far” and “Prime Time”) and movies (including “On Golden Pond” and “9 to 5”).
Gina McCarthy, a Boston native, was EPA Administrator from 2013 to 2017. She holds a master’s degree in Environmental Health Engineering and Planning and Policy from Tufts University and currently is a professor of public health science at the Harvard School of Public Health.
