The Medford Senior Center, with the help of Tufts University occupational therapy students, is offering community members an Arm Chair Travel Experience through virtual reality (VR), an immersive experience that allows you to watch a video while simultaneously feeling as if you are in that environment. Participants will be given a seat in the Senior Center library, a VR headset, and 360-degree recorded VR videos to sightsee without having to leave the building. Choose international or domestic travel, space and ocean exploration, and also meditation/mindfulness practices. Space is limited; sign up by calling the Senior Center at 781-396-6010.
