Angelina Mejia, owner of Love ya MA Art for Kids in Fulton Heights, is offering six-week after-school art classes on Wednesdays and Thursdays from May 12-13 through June 16-17. Classes will be held at Community Baptist Church from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and in two age groups — 6 to 10 and 11 to 14 — which will work on separate projects. These will include painting with acrylics, watercolors, pastels, pencil and crayon. Multimedia paper, canvases and other surfaces will be used for the artwork. Papier-mache and decorative pieces will be created as well.
