Angelina Mejia, owner of Love ya MA Art for Kids in Fulton Heights, is presenting another series of summer art classes for ages 6 to 14. This week’s class will be based on Joan Miro. Participants will re-create art pieces in Miro’s style, painting with acrylics and water colors and using markers and colored pencils, as well as designing their own bags, caps or T-shirts with fabric paint.

The class takes place Monday through Friday, August 8-12, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Community Baptist Church. Cost is $35 per child, per class, or $175 for the week.  To register or get more information, please contact Angelina Mejia at angie7497@gmail.com or 617-372-0333.

The final session in the series will be August 22-26 and focus on Sculpture and Contemporary Art.
