Arts Collaborative Medford and Sanctuary United Church of Christ present an Art & Soul Circle for Shared Reflection around the ACM art exhibition “Design – Book – Art,” in the Literary Corner (postponed from its original date of October 4). The 17 artists’ books in this exhibition are containers of visual stories exploring subjects that are very personal and deeply political. There are artists who start with their own experience of existing within their bodies, and journaling their lives. Others expand into their immediate communities, write down stories to document and expose their culture. Some use fiction, mythical heroes and anti-heroes, involved in allegorical stories reflecting our political climate. Rev. Wendy Miller Olapade will facilitate the dialogue. This ACM exhibition will be on view until November 8.
