“Poetry [Justice]” is the theme for the annual meeting of ArtsMedford, the nonprofit organization formerly known as Medford Arts Center, Inc. The meeting will begin with three local poets reading works inspired by the issue of social justice: Terry E. Carter, the West Medford Community Center’s Director of Elder Services who has published five volumes of poetry; Max Heinegg, an English teacher in the Medford Public Schools and a Sidney Lanier Poetry Award winner and Pushcart Prize nominee; and Heather Sullivan, who has published two poetry collections and whose work has appeared in numerous online and print journals.
