Johnny Williams, a music veteran with 45 years in the industry, and Down By Riverside bring together a powerhouse lineup of the nation’s top blues musicians for the Blizzard of Blues concert at Arts Collaborative Medford. Inspired by the legendary John Mayall, Blizzard of Blues is a deep dive into the heart of the blues featuring an all-star lineup of Shane Eli Sager, harmonica and vocals; Johnny Williams, guitar and vocals; Vanessa Williams, vocals and backing vocals; Steve Koulalis, guitar and vocals; Steve Potts, bass and backing vocals; Bobby Wessa, keys; Tim Dinneen, drums; Karl Bryan, saxophone; Dan Janis, bass; Adrian Bathurst, drums; Mark Donohue, keys; Tyson Kamikawa, saxophone; and Mike McLaughlin,  saxophone. Also featuring special guests Mark Hobbs and Colin Dwyer, and a guest appearance by Coywolf Johnson. Pre-sale tickets are $12 until 6 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11, through the Down By Riverside website. Tickets at the door will be $17.
