The Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University invites you to commemorate the beauty of forming new communities by attending a launch of the book “Kenzy’s Crazy Day,” a capstone presentation by the Tisch Scholars. This children’s book celebrates the resilience and courage required to navigate new friendships and unfamiliar surroundings. After a reading of the book, indulge in eating, mingling, and interactive art making. Throughout the event, the presenters will delve into themes of isolation, closure, and the challenges of acclimating to new environments, all through the eyes of Kenzy — a 10-year-old who recently relocated to Somerville.
