Brooks Estate Tours

FreeIn conjunction with its Fall Spruce-up Day, the Medford-Brooks Estate Land Trust will be offering Shepherd Brooks Manor tours between 2 and 4 p.m.
Meet at the Manor; note that the last tour will begin at 3:30 p.m. The Spuce-up begins at 10 a.m. Gloves and tools provided, but pruners, loppers, etc., welcome. Wear work clothes; if you have a favorite pair of work gloves, bring them. If you want to paint, wear paint clothes.
Important event parking rules: It’s best to walk in at the green gate and blue sign at 275 Grove Street, and then walk up the access drive to the end. Limited spaces are available at the Boardwalk lot along the access drive, and at the Manor, with preference at the manor for handicapped parking. Do not park in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Do not park along the access drive. Do not park on Grove Street. Handicapped parking: If you need handicapped parking, drive slowly up the access drive to the Manor (the road is bumpy, be careful). You will be shown where to park.
