Chevalier Theatre welcomes the legendary Chicago blues guitarist and singer Buddy Guy. Guy, 85, has influenced generations of guitarists including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark Jr. and John Mayer. The title of Guy’s latest album says it all: “The Blues Is Alive and Well.” Guy’s 18th solo LP and follow-up to 2015’s “Born to Play Guitar” showcases his raw and unadulterated sound that will fill Chevalier.

Opening for Guy will be blues singer and guitarist Samantha Fish.

Tickets are $38 to $87 through the Chevalier Theatre website/Ticketmaster. Tickets also may be purchased at the Chevalier Theatre Box Office, free of online ordering charges; the box office is open every Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., as well as two hours before every Chevalier event.
