The Porch Southern Fare & Juke Joint at River’s Edge presents a free performance by country singer-songwriter Charlie Marie of Providence. Like so many songwriters, Charlie Marie was introduced to country music by her grandmother. At age 10, she was already hooked on Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Her admiration for their artistry has only grown stronger since and shines through in her own repertoire. With current influences like genre-breaking Margo Price, Charlie is fusing the history of the trailblazers of country music together with a modern-day flair.

Charlie Marie also will be performing at The Porch on Sunday, September 15, in a free matinee show beginning at 1 p.m.
