With cooler fall weather here, the Medford Chess Club has moved its Saturday afternoon chess meetups indoors, at the Charlotte & William Bloomberg Medford Public Library. Stop into the second-floor gallery area for a friendly game of chess. The club has chess sets, chess clocks, and helpful members who are willing to teach you the rules if you’re new to the game. There are no membership dues or fees to play.  Visit the club’s Facebook group for updates. The Medford Chess Club is organized by Medford residents and led by Jack Elsey.
