The Medford Recreation Department invites kids and teens to enter into the magical and exciting world of chess with Chess Wizards. You will participate in epic chess games, fun and interactive lessons, tournaments, team matches, trivia and more. Whether you have been playing chess for your entire life and want to improve, are brand new to the game, or you just want to have a fun experience with your friends, Chess Wizards is the place for you.

The program runs for eight Fridays from February 11 through April 8 (no session on February 25 due to school vacation week). Ages 8 to 12 meet from 5 to 6 p.m., and ages 13 to 17 meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Cost is $162. Register through the Medford Recreation website.
